Wash your eggs in warm to hot soapy water. Be sure to refrigerate your eggs after you wash them!
It is recommended to use odorless cleaning material (but I typically use normal soap).
Wash eggs in water that is at least 20° warmer than the eggs are at the time of washing. The easiest way to ensure this is to use water that is warm or hot to the touch.
Dry the eggs before storing them.
Before washing your eggs, you can store them unrefrigerated for about 2-4 weeks.
After washing your eggs, be sure to refrigerate them! After being refrigerated, the eggs can last for around 6 months.
